Long time no speak :)

He is back...

 

 

...and bigger and better than ever seen before. The blonde angel is flying high again, representing all over the muslim world. As you can see I made my newspaper debut the other day! :D I was at the Fenerbahce:Konya match and from the 55.000 people in the ground they just had to pick out this man of a man, hero for many and living legend, called Yunus :P
Hehe Im sorry for getting a bit big headed here but its not everyday that you make the news is it?
Im sorry for a longer break from this blog but in my defence this whole website was blocked in Turkey. I guess they didn't like my report on pig meat! ;)

ULTRA

The last week has really been about one of my most favourite activites...being a football hooligan! :P Now dont worry I didn't stab anyone or get arrested. All I did was taking in the amazing atmosphere in the various stadiums of Istanbul, where football seems unimportant when you look at the action happening on the terraces. Here football is life; The club is everything. Holding the flare in my hand (as can be seen above), walking towards the ground with thousands of fans, shouting and singing louder than anything I've ever heard I thought "this is it. This is life!".
There are few things in life that feel so special and amazing as going to a game of football with your friends, especially if your friends are crazy Ultras in the Balkan regions. What I wittnessed was amazing but I think it was only a warm up to what is expecting me in Belgrade this April, when it is once again time to get out the flares (and knifes :P) and march together, singing, drinking and simply put, going mental :)

going for the big one

Hello dear friends,

At this moment I am lying in bed like a soldier after a long, tiring battle....the battle of Party! After finishing my exams and going into the time of the year in which 95 % of all the Erasmus people are going back home, it was time for a big one. After partying four nights in a row with not much sleep, Beer and Burger King all day long it was now time to do what I do best: rest!
A very intelligent man aproaching his 30s once told me that I have to take advantage of every party as long as I still can. This in mind I showed Istanbul the time of its life, running wild and going for the win!
As the next days will most possibly be just as wild I need to focus on lying in my bed, watching movies and lounging, recharging my batteries for more adventures! :P
